News: Electric Rate Increase effective Oct. 1st, 2022 - Click here for more details.

Electric Rate Increase

Effective October 1, 2022, the Electric Plant Board of the City of Russellville will implement a 1% rate
increase spread equally to all of our customer rate classes. Over the past couple of years, REPB has
experienced dramatic cost increases in all areas of doing business including material, transportation, and
labor. These costs have a direct effect on our electric rates. As a result of the rate change, the average
REPB residential customer will see and increase of $1.10 on the monthly electric bill.
REPB’s mission is to provide the highest standards of service, reliability, efficiency and courtesy at
competitive rates. Although we understand the burden a rate increase has on our rate payers, REPB has
absorbed as much of the cost as feasibly possible and a small increase is needed to continue the level of
service and reliability that our customers have come to expect. Russellville Electric Plant Board
continues to have one of the lowest rates in the TVA area.
